About This Lesson

This animation shows how the temperature of a gas affects its pressure if it is heated at a constant volume.
As the temperature rises the molecules of the gas move faster and faster and so make more violent collisions with the walls of the flask. It is this that gives an increase in the pressure inside the flask.
