About This Lesson
When beginning the year, it helps to begin building a writing community by engaging writers in topics they know best. The most universally-accessible topic is "me" and so in that spirit, I share a prewriting activity that begins with lists of personal experiences. The lists become great resources throughout the year, especially at the start of a memoir-writing project.
