      About This Lesson

      R.A.F.T.S. (Role, Audience, Format, Topic, and Strong verb). This type of writing provides my middle school ESOL students opportunity to practice many different forms of writing from letters, newspaper ads and articles, maps, directions, and job descriptions to mention a few. I often use these activities as a bell ringer exercise or for earlier finishers.
