About This Lesson
A workbook of reading strategies (skimming for the main idea, understanding the structure of a reading, using cognate/cognate clues to determine the meaning of new words, understanding synonym use in texts, annotating during reading, and using multiple choice strategies to answer text based questions) for French. Ideally used in a two to three day reading clinic to prepare students for reading long (multiparagraph) texts. Mentioned on FLTEACH September 2013.
