About This Lesson
Research was set as homework in such a way that each student focussed on 1 sub-topic and the 4 titles were spread throughout the class. At start of next lesson the ppt slide was displayed and students collaborated with others in their group what they had found out and used this to prepare a quick presentation. This was peer assessed using the evaluation sheets. By the next lesson each group also submitted a page of notes that could be photocopied and distributed to the rest of the class. The entire activity was based on slides from a colleagues PowerPoint.
A really goos lesson idea, I like that each pupil has responsibilty for a part of the research task.
