About This Lesson

Each child is given a word; which they stick onto the trunk of their rhyming tree. Then they think of as many rhyming words as they can and write them onto their tree's branches. This includes a page of words and can be changed to meet needs of any class. The basic lesson can also be adjusted to use affixes on the trunk and new words on branches.

Specific dates and times

Specific dates and times should be removed from the lesson plan. I think a visual example should be included, as well as examples of rhyming words to use. The content of this lesson is good, but I would also upload some resourced to go along with it. Possibly re-upload this as a whole unit.
