In this project students are challenged to conduct  research using videos, books, online search engines etc. to gather information about honey bees in order to design and build a safer more efficient beehive to  accommodate the honeybees and keep them safe, thus decreasing the risj of extinction. 

The information gathered would include: The body structure of a bee, understanding how they function within their species in relation to the bee hive and their purpose,  identifying the impact bees have on our environment and why they are going extinct and understanding and describing the structure of the hive and the function of each of its parts.
