Science investigation - wrapping a present

This set of resources was made for a lesson observation which went really well (there are some - thankfully!!) Exploring the properties of materials through a media that the children understand. I used classroom toys that the children were familiar with and this gave meaning to the investigation. Most children were able to predict the outcome but it was the process of the investigation that was more important. The lesson went really well and I hope that the resources are useful to others.
