Excellent resource when combined with wireless voting pods as it lends itself to A-D multiple choice &amp; you get instant feedback on every student. Being a .ppt means you can edit or revise it so no issue with the odd criticism of calcium carbonate etc.

Great resource n.b. granite is a mixture, calcuim carbonate is not.

Nice quiz, be a good wrap up for mixtures. Its easy to change the error - just changed calcium carbonate to soil and granite to calcium carbonate (haven't done the rock cycle with this class yet)

To answer the above, calcium carbonate is a chemical compound, not a mixture.
