I used this as part of my instructional writing week. The children had the instructions cut up and had to read them and put them in the correct order. The cheese sandwich instructions were for the more able children. One handout is included with part of
A super resource. And just think of the additional language being produced whilst the children are doing this activity! Sticky, taste (always the best part!), lang associated with cleaning up, etc. A great, practical activity for new & advanced bilingual

I work in an MLD school and this is a useful resource for less able children. It was possible to make the sandwich at the same time which always livens things up! Thanks a lot
