A guided PowerPoint that directs students to different information online about Shakespeare. Students to fill in the accompanying handout at the same time to ensure they collect all of the information. Very popular with students! Aligned with Common Core Standards: Writing: Research to Build and Present Knowledge (W.8-9).
My kids enjoyed it! I used it as a quick introduction to Shakespeare and his time that didn't absorb too much of our class period. Plus, the kids enjoyed an adventurous diversion from lecture and readings.

I think it is important to note that Shakespeare did NOT write in Old English.
