This PowerPoint presentation introduces the idea of stereotypes which are present in the short story 'When the Wasps Drowned'. The questions are graded up to a 'C' because this was a for a lower ability group intervention that all had the goal grade of a C (by district rubric standards)by the end of the quarter. The following lesson the students read the short story. The short story is about children who discover something sinister in their yard during their summer vacation.
