About This Lesson
This is a Still Life Painting Unit Plan Of Instruction that will span for approximately two weeks and includes 6 lessons each 1 hour and 45 minutes long. It is based on a non – traditional project based school type, which I have full time teaching experience in. My lessons align with California Instructional Standards, National Core Arts Standards For Visual Arts – Program 8 and Best Practice Recommendations In Art. I have also integrated of authentic instruction and assessment throughout .
My lesson plan documents the sequence of activities, resources and pedagogical methods . Resources include classroom resources, community, digital means, people and experiences . Pedagogical methods lay emphasis on that which is specifically appropriate to art. I have also highlighted other methods used to support my teaching and learning and shown how my students will not just consume knowledge but create it.
