About This Lesson
A pre-reading introduction to Tennessee Williams' "A Streetcar Named Desire," this activity enables students to research Williams' life, and use their findings to answer questions about their author and to analyze his work and interpretations of his work in various media. This powerpoint was used to in a VoiceThread presentation, in which students worked in pairs and responded to prompts via text and audio comments, but is easily adapted for a written activity.
