About This Lesson
"Sylvia & Aki" tells the story of two girls, Sylvia Mendez and Aki Munemitsu, who lives intersect as they face racial discrimination during World War 2. This lesson is part of unit of study across three content areas, to be introduced when students read Chapter 3 and continued throughout the unit.
