About This Lesson

Three groups will be able to lead research of different parts of the titanic and understand the tragedy as a whole.

Project Idea: Learn about social class, How the Iceberg could have been avoided, and what the final outcome was in the tragedy.

Entry Event: to research and discuss throughout the week what the groups have learned day by day

Power Standard:  for students to be able to see how society treated people of the different social classes. 



Content Standards & Objectives:  The learning target will happen all week long.  The three groups will have to report at the end of that day’s period what they have learned during that day.  Day 5 we will travel to the Titanic Museum and hands on learn.  Finally each student will write two pages and present them in front of the class on the learning that occurred.
