About This Lesson

In this tornadoes and climate change lesson plan, SWBAT understand how tornado systems break out and how climate change could affect storm outbreaks in the future.

Students read an article on a recent tornado outbreak and how a warmer planet could alter extreme weather, then discuss ways to communicate with the public the dangers of imminent tornadoes.
