A short presentation of the whale lineage back to a terestrial form. Sequence: Humpback & Sperm whales, Basilosaurus, Durodon, Rhodocetus, Ambulocetus, Pakicetus. Several skeletons on the last slide.
I wanted the students to spot the pelvic bones, then go back in time. Many teachers may not prefer to work backwards. You can always change the order of the slides.
I gathered the images and composed the text, but I did not create the images. I got them from the internet, from non-copyright sources.
