Wow this is a really tricky question asking students to calculate the area of a circle with a trapezium inscribed inside it. As explained you have to apply Pythagoras, circle theorems and various bits of trigonometry. This would be a really interesting question to explore having studied these topics but I suspect many students would need the few hints provided. Thank you for sharing.
