About This Lesson
This fall, take your students on a journey that blends the excitement of discovery with lessons in resilience, creativity, and teamwork. As The Wild Robot hits theaters on September 27, you can use this engaging film to introduce key concepts like animal traits, adaptations, problem-solving, and coping with change. These activities will encourage students to think critically and reflect on the value of self-discovery, family, and friendships.
Students will explore resilience and self-discovery through reading comprehension and creative writing. They’ll enhance critical thinking and problem-solving by studying animal adaptations and designing models based on real-life traits. Teamwork-based activities will further build resilience, coping skills, and self-discovery through collaboration and role-playing.
