About This Lesson

Students will engage in a thorough research of how slavery in the U.S. created tension that started the U.S. Civil War. Students will focus on specific parts of the U.S. Civil War and investigate different time periods of the war.  Students will be expected to present their findings to each other and observe and assess one another.
