How can I build the tension in my story using time connectives? An idea I had while teaching time connectives and planning narrative using story mountains. Not only a great display giving children ideas about pace; paragraphs and sentence openers; but can initially serve as an activity where children stick the time connectives where they think they should be on the tension/story mountain.
