A set of debate prompts for different groups to be used in a debate about whether school should be compulsory for all. I used this during a topic on schools focusing specifically on Victorians. We looked at the Education Act and what changes that would bring and students had a really good debate about whether school should be compulsory or not. The different roles/ prompts are for: politicians; factory owners; children and parents.
