About This Lesson

To get a class thinking / revizing previous knowledge of adaptations. Give out cards as they enter class. Ask those with animals on card to stand up. Others have to go to animal that has the adaptation written on their card. Now have to summarize as a group what adaptations are used for.

This is brilliant thank you. I'm going to do this slightly differently. I'll place the names of the animals on different tables and when I give the students the adaptation cards I will ask them to go to the table of the animal that matches their description. Whilst on those tables I will then ask them to give me two reasons per animal why that adaptation is ueful.
