Agriculture, industry and energy demand more and more water. The impacts of climate change are looming. Pressure on freshwater supplies has never been greater. The result is a threat to the world's economy, the environment and one of our world's most precious resources.
Great video to show students the importance of water conservation. For American students, the metric system might confuse them when it comes to understanding the volumes of water. I liked how it went through someone's daily meal and explained how much water it took to grow the food. This is something most people don't think about and it would be helpful to realize.
