About This Lesson
A humourous poem that suggests answers to the question 'What's Inside the Box?' Can be used to model alliteration and rhyme. In the past I have provided either a closed activity or open ended task asking children to to create equally imaginative; exciting responses and have received some really interesting ideas- especially as the poem gives 'permission' to create interesting nonsense replies!
