About This Lesson
Students will learn how an ecosystem can be affected by climate change, which affects the ecosystem’s overall health. The first lesson will be focused on watching a virtual field trip, “Climb-It Change,” and answering guided questions with intermittent pausing throughout the video. The second part of the lesson will be a research activity about wildfires. The third lesson will be a student presentation on the student-led research.
This guide contains a set of discussion questions and answers for any grade level, which can be used during and after the virtual field trip. It also contains links to additional resources ranging from lessons, activities, videos, demonstrations, experiments, and multimedia presentations.
