About This Lesson

In this video, Albuquerque teacher Ali Nava walks her students through a cooperative paragraph summarizing the beginning, middle, and end Burro's Tortillas and uses the exercise as an opportunity to practice their writing skills. Also included are two videos on 1st grade writing and writing rubrics. Aligned to Common Core State Standards: RL.1.1, RL.1.2, RL.1.3, RL1.7, SL.1.1, SL.1.2, SL.1.4, SL.1.5, L.1.2, W.1.3
