About This Lesson
Lesson plans used to teach writing when studying World War II. Spend the first week reading text and watching animations / films with flashbacks. In the second week use the book 'My Uncle's Dunkirk' by Mike Manning as a stimulus for writing about flashbacks or any other appropriate. This then provided the structure for their own flashbacks in the third week. Talk for Writing techniques had a fantastic impact on the quality of the children's writing.
