About This Lesson
These brief, fun skits allow students to see that they already know how to infer. In each hallway encounter, each of two students has a role. The rest of the class must guess how each person feels as he or she says "Hi!" in the hall. It's great to introduce the idea of explicit and implicit and to build confidence as students begin tackling text.
Great for students to get involved and thinking.
