About This Lesson

This game is based on the book by Ken Wilson Max (ISBN 1-85602-352-4) Begin by sharing the book with the children. Each child then has a ruck sack and a set of item cards. The children roll a dice with red and green dots on it. If they roll a red they remain where they are; If they roll a green they move on one step. as the children move around the board they collect items that Zelda collected in the story. The winner is the fisrt child to collect all the items and return to the train station.
