Kristi Valiant wrote and illustrated the picture book, Penguin Cha-Cha (Random House, 2013). She illustrated the upcoming picture book, Pretty Minnie in Paris, written by Danielle Steel (Random House, 2014), as well as a handful of award-winning picture books including The Goodbye Cancer Garden (Albert Whitman & Co, 2011) and Cora Cooks Pancit (Shen's Books, 2009). She also illustrates the Little Wings chapter book series for Random House. Kristi graduated magna cum laude from Columbus College of Art & Design with a major in Illustration. Kristi grew up in Wisconsin and now lives in Indiana with her husband, Casey, and two daughters.
