Justin — High School History Teacher & Lifelong Learner
I am is a passionate high school history and geography teacher based in Joplin, Missouri. With a lively, engaging teaching style, I bring history to life by connecting the past to students’ everyday experiences. I currently have 4 years of experience in the classroom, including time spent managing the In-School Suspension room, where I honed my classroom management skills and developed a deeper understanding of student needs.
Currently I am pursuing a Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction, and I am committed to evolving my teaching practice and staying on the cutting edge of education. Outside the classroom, I am a multi-instrumentalist who loves indie rock, an amateur photographer and filmmaker, and a proud father and grandfather. Whether I'm leading students through the Renaissance or editing footage on Adobe Photoshop, I approach every challenge with creativity, humor, and heart.
