Biography
I’m a bilingual educator, instructional designer, and Spanish language coach with more than 20 years of professional training experience and over a decade in education. Born in San José, Costa Rica, I bring both language and culture into lessons designed around ACTFL principles, real-world communication, and meaningful student engagement.
My lessons are intentionally structured to build confidence through achievable wins, conversation, movement, repetition, and frequent checks for understanding. I believe students learn best when the affective filter is low, expectations are clear, and they can genuinely say, “Sí puedo—I can do this!”
