A Moment of Science presents scientific information clearly, concisely, and with good humor.
In just two minutes, you'll get the scientific story behind some of the simplest and most curious phenomena from everyday life. We’ve all hit our “funny bone.” Why does it feel like that? What do bicycles, footballs, and space shuttles have in common? Why do some birds hop and others walk? A Moment of Science answers these and literally thousands of other questions about the world in which we live. These vignettes also remove some of the mystery from science—but not the wonder! You may even think, “Wow, that’s neat!” and go tell somebody else. There’s no end to the topics covered, and you the listener can add to the list by sending us questions.
