The Advocates for Human Rights helps individuals fully realize their human rights in the USA & around the world. For over 25 years, The Advocates’ innovative programming has touched the lives of refugees & immigrants, women, ethnic & religious minorities, children, & other marginalized communities whose rights are at risk. The Advocates has a long history of educating about human rights & providing people with the skills they need to advocate for them. Since 1992, The Advocates for Human Rights has been a local & national leader in bringing the principles of international human rights to the classroom & the community. We create, pilot, & disseminate curricular resources for use in human rights education. We believe that educating about human rights & responsibilities is the most important way to ensure long-term improvements in respect for human rights in the United States & around the world.
