My name is Joan V. Delos Reyes, and I am a mathematics educator with more than 20 years of teaching experience at the middle school, high school, and college levels. I currently teach International Baccalaureate (IB) Mathematics and advanced secondary mathematics courses at North Canyon High School in Arizona. I hold a Master of Arts in Education major in Mathematics and am a licensed secondary mathematics teacher. Throughout my career, I have been committed to helping students develop strong mathematical foundations, critical-thinking skills, and confidence in their ability to succeed.
I am passionate about making mathematics accessible, engaging, and meaningful for all learners, particularly those from diverse and underserved communities. My professional interests include STEM education, mathematics intervention, curriculum development, and teacher mentorship. Through my teaching and educational contributions, I strive to prepare students for college, careers, and lifelong learning while promoting equity and excellence in mathematics education.
