Maya Vachrankunkiet is a student passionate about public health, education, and community service. As a co-founder of Mission: BE FAST, she helped research, design, and implement an evidence-based stroke awareness curriculum for elementary school students. Her responsibilities included conducting medical research, developing educational materials, creating the project website, analyzing pilot data, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure the curriculum was both accurate and engaging.
Inspired by the impact that stroke awareness can have on saving lives, Maya hopes to continue expanding Mission: BE FAST so that more students, families, and communities have access to life-saving education. She believes that empowering young people with knowledge today can help build safer and more prepared communities for the future.
