In this session, you will will hear from educators and teens about how student-driven initiatives helped them make sense of the biggest stories in recent history and learn how to rethink civics education through the power of storytelling. You will also learn how to strengthen student civic engagement and critical thinking in and outside of the classroom, especially around current events.
Available for one-hour of PD credit. A certificate of completion will be available for download at the end of your session that you can submit for your school's or district's approval.
