You are most likely interested in joining this session this because you know that our world has a racism problem and that we all need to do our part to solve it. You are probably someone who cares deeply about young people, their education, democracy, and a brighter future. Imagine the world you want to leave to the generations that will follow.
How can you become the example of that way of living now? The goal of this session is to increase your capacity to understand the issue, engage in anti-racist and anti-oppression practice, undertake continuous learning, and become ambassadors for the work.
Through the *NEW* WE Teachers Anti-Racism module, educators, school administrators and community leaders will be able to use an anti-racist and anti-oppressive lens to critically examine their school’s and community's climate, practices, and policies. Thank you for joining us and deciding to tackle the concept of anti-racism. We know this isn't easy, but we also know this work is long overdue.
Available for one-hour of PD credit. A certificate of completion will be available for download at the end of your session that you can submit for your school's or district's approval.
