Join Rock and Roll Forever Foundation and Share My Lesson for a webinar on incorporating popular music across disciplines.

Rock and Roll: An American Story is an online educational resource presented by Steven Van Zandt's Rock and Roll Forever Foundation and offered free-of-charge to educators and individuals everywhere. Interdisciplinary in nature, RRAS is geared toward middle and high school students but includes resources for learning at all levels. The webinar will feature RRFF staff discussing various methodologies for engaging students through the study of popular music. The presentation will emphasize ways that non-music teachers can use the curriculum to draw meaningful connections between music culture and a variety of subject areas, including Social Studies and English Language Arts.

Professional Credit

Available for one-hour of PD credit. A certificate of completion will be available for download at the end of your session that you can submit for your school's or district's approval.

Share My Lesson is now a New York State Education Department-approved provider for Continuing Teacher and Leader Education (CTLE) requirements and an Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) approved Professional Development provider.
