About This Webinar
Middle school is ripe with opportunities for children, but it is also a time of risk-taking, increased reward seeking, and heightened peer influence. By providing adolescents with the proper social and emotional tools to navigate and persevere through life’s challenges, children are better able to achieve their goals, have more positive self-perceptions and social behaviors, academic achievements, and a decrease in conduct problems and emotional distress.
In this session, we aim to convey not only the importance of seamlessly integrating SEL into middle school classrooms, but to also give educators and administrators tangible steps they can take to get started on the SEL journey today.
