Photography is a medium that challenges students to learn about history, place, and culture. This session will explore iconic photography of the past as a stepping stone for students to document their voice through photography. Walk away with tools to engage students with the medium of photography to make historical, cultural, environmental, and personal connections while creating a powerful record for future generations.
How might photography encourage students to become active citizens and witnesses to our rapidly changing world? Student photography will be highlighted.
Available for one-hour of PD credit. A certificate of completion will be available for download at the end of your session that you can submit for your school's or district's approval.
