Join Carol Anderson of Emory University, Fran Sterling and Jen Sarché of BlueShift Education, Julia Torres, ELA educator, librarian, and member of Educolor Collective, and Share My Lesson for a follow up session of the new film, "All In: The Fight for Democracy".
Available on Demand
Using the new film “All In: The Fight for Democracy” as a springboard for learning, we will walk through the discussion guide and lesson plans that will lead students on a journey to dig deeply into these fundamental questions: Who gets to participate in our democracy? Who is pushed aside, and why is this problematic? How can we all fight to sustain the right to vote? These resources and lessons are free, flexible, fully accessible and easily adaptable to U.S. history, civics/government, and media literacy units. The presentation will include speakers from the film and the writers of the education resources.
Available for one-hour of PD credit. A certificate of completion will be available for download at the end of your session that you can submit for your school's or district's approval.
On Demand version is available in closed captioning in English and Spanish.
