About This Webinar

Discover new bilingual picture books (English/Spanish) and thematic learning experiences to support multilingual learners. In this 2024 Share My Lesson Virtual Conference session, participants will receive thematic roadmaps for each book to support the building of vocabulary and conceptual connections. Roadmaps will include cognates and key vocabulary, ideas for hands-on exploration, songs, and games, as well as video and field trip suggestions to extend learning.

Elizabeth spent 16 years as a classroom teacher before venturing into writing. She has taught elementary school, middle school, high school, and at the collegiate level where she worked with graduate students pursuing teacher certification.

Inspired by her energetic youngster and his love for books, she took her background in education and meshed it with his childhood interests. The result was edu-tainment in the form of children's books!
