PASSION MEETS PURPOSE: Promising Pathways Through Experiential Learning, held March 21, 2024, was a first of its kind conference to invite speakers spanning the industries of business, the government and education to come together to discuss experiential, hands-on learning. Here is an excerpt of some of the sessions. To view all sessions, access the full blog on the ASI website here.

PASSION MEETS PURPOSE showcased the dynamic realm of experiential, hands-on learning, where students engage in immersive educational experiences that foster curiosity, exploration, inquiry, and profound comprehension. This conference highlighted various facets of experiential learning, ranging from career and technical education (CTE) to the arts, music, and action civics. Through student-centered approaches, participants delved into how experiential learning cultivates deeper understanding and equips students with the skills necessary for promising careers across diverse fields. This gathering united education leaders, governmental officials, and decision-makers not only to share current advancements in experiential learning but also to strategize on how to expand its reach to meet the needs of all students.
