Freedom to Teach

All students should feel valued an able to grow and learn in the environment without fear.

No single one technique can reach every person young or old. Teachers should be able to use methods and resources that work best for them.

To teach is so important. Not every child learns the same and teaches are the innovators that help three students learn. It should never be about a state or federal test. The teachers I learned and loved three most were some of my funniest classes and I learned a ton. They weren't easy, but it gave me perspective. Teachers are teaching in challenging times and it is hard to stand and teach when several don't want to be there. If a teacher had more rights over his/her clayton

As an educator, I am blessed to have the freedom to expose my students to material that aligns with grade level standards as well as content that will educate the whole child. Teaching with freedom helps the educator to see the child as individuals and meet them where they are. As a special educator, I love the opportunity help students as being their life line, encourager, coach, and support system. Students sometimes feel as though their "label" is a death sentence. Having the freedom to teach allows me to change that narrative from death to life!

I feel that freedom to teach means that I have the freedom to do what is right for my students at all costs but yet that will never come with the fear of a cost to my career.

It means that I, as a teacher, have the freedom to be creative, innovative, and selective to prepare engaging lessons that will be specifically intended for my own students.
