Freedom to Teach is based on trust and respect for teaching professionals.
It means being able to decide, as an educated professional, how to best teach and reach my individual students - students who are NOT the same across the board and who need a teacher who knows them to decide what they need.

Freedom to teach means that as I share my knowledge with students, I am open to learning from them.
Together we learn and climb new heights supporting each other.

Freedom to teach means that I can guide and engage my students in a variety of ways in the classroom, reinvigorate the passion for learning, and give them opportunities to grow inside and outside the classroom as strong leaders for our future.
It means that they are more than a test score on a sheet of paper! They are all individuals with a plan for what comes next, and I have the freedom to help teach and guide them towards the best way to achieve that plan.

Freedom to teach for me means that I can not only adapt my lessons but enrich the learning of my students with hands on experiences.
It help to provide them with learning that opens their minds to a higher level of thinking. And It helps to encourage them to want to continue learning.

Freedom to teach means having the freedom to do what I know is right for my students.
It is modifying the scope and sequence to meet the needs of my students while still keeping my pacing so as to cover the skills they need by the end of the year.
