About This Lesson

In this lesson, students will be able to define rigid motion transformation, translation, rotation, and reflection.

During this lesson, students will be working independently on defining rigid motion transformation, translation, rotation, and reflection. They will need to also identify a real world example of each type of transformation. I will provide an example of how to search for the terms and what are acceptable definitions. After defining the terms, I will provide examples of each transformation on google slides.

I will then monitor students as complete an activity on IREADY which is a self-paced guided lesson on further detail of transformations. At the end they will take a quiz to assess what they have learned.
