I really like the end column with questions to consider. However, I am wondering if you are using Common Core Standards or if you have different standards in New York. Common Core language uses "claim" instead of "thesis." Our CRAAP test is different than your CRAP test. I'm wondering if New York is different. I agree with other commenters about the 1 column. I also like your categories.

I think this is a good, clear rubric however, I'd edit to the lower end something more positive like for a #1- instead of saying "not good enough" say "Revise and edit"

The categories for the rubric are well defined and useful to the receiver. Would consider re-framing the column of least capability to focus on the need for improvement. For example, rather than 1 = Not good enough, need to re-do, my suggestion would be 1= needs improvement. Further, for the 1 rating for thesis, my suggestion would be: Thesis requires considerable clarification.
